Bespoke

Several bespoke application have been built for specific club needs.

Himalayan Index

A replacement for the Alpine Club's Himalayan Index is in development (currently member only).

This enables remote updating on the database by a variety of volunteers, and for member (public in future) submission of comments and photos.

It is a stand-alone SvelteKit website, supported by a separate Hono server using D1 database and R2 storage (all deployed on cloudflare).

Munros submission application

Munros

To support the reporting of compleations of hill lists via the Scottish Mountaineering Club and its website, an on-line service was created for submissions and administration.

The frontend is embedded with the SMC website.

The backend is deployed as a Hono server using D1 storage (deployed on Cloudflare).

SMC Full Routes Site

The Scottish Mountaineering Club now publishes its full catalogue of routes in Scotland through mobile-first full routes website. This is separate from their main website due the difference in design and style.

The site is a valuable resource to Scottish climbers and has enhanced the image of the SMC.

The website uses the main SMC routes database server as its backend to deliver the data.
